Day 2 - Relaxed 31DC - Orange

Ladies, here is Day 2 for the Relaxed 31DC Challenge. Today is suppose to be orange. I'm still sick so here is something easy that I did. Actually, I enjoyed this one very much. :)

Look at all that shimmer that I'm getting with my glitter. I wasn't sure I was going to like this bright orange but it turned out to be refreshing and summery! I can't wait for hotter weather! Beach time! I added a stamp on my ring fingers with Salon Express plates; which I got at Sally's beauty supply. I don't really recommend this package. It's preferable to pay $10 extra dollars and get yourself a Bundle Monster kit.

Base coat - OPI Nail Envy Strengthener
Base Color - Spoiled Jail Bait (2 coats)
Glitter Color - Spoiled Vitamin C
Top Coat - Poshe
Stamp - Salon Express plate

I'm impressed with my first stamped nail! I'm pretty sure I would do better with a better plate. I'm going to go shopping for Bundle Monster today!

Day 10 - Laid-Back 31DC - Geometry

Hey Everyone! Thanks for joining me once again. I'm glad that you are enjoying my art work as much as I'm enjoying hearing from you. It's a pleasure to be able to do this challenge with the rest of the girls from The Crumpet's Nail Tart Group on Facebook. This challenge was to do something geometric and I just tried doing a triangle with dots! I hope I accomplished the challenge.

The first three pictures is one of the lovely new collection of OPI: Euro Centrale - My Vampire is Buff.
I really love this base color, it's very light but it's just perfect for an undie. The only problem I found with this polish is that it streaks big time. I have two coats on and you can barely see the streaks but once it completely dries it leaves lines on the side where you might have not completely over your first coat. You can see a little on the middle finger but it got worse once it dried off.

The picture below was of my left hand. I should have just left it as it was before I started adding more dots on the bottom!!

The pictures below are of my right hand once I realized that I screwed up my left hand. lol. :D

On top of everything. It seems I got a lot of bubbles from my topcoat Seche Vite. I'm having a love/hate relationship with it right now. I believe I'm going to try Poshe.
Below you can see the colors I used for my mani. I really enjoyed how colorful it was. :)

Day 1 - Relaxed 31DC - Red

Okay..I'm doing a second challenge! At the same time that I'm doing the Laid-Back 31DC challenge. Today I'm suppose to do red...actually yesterday. :) I've terribly sick and I haven't had the chance to do my mani. This mani is a little sloppy and I hadn't finished cleaning my nails. The last two pictures are a lot better. :)

I got myself Zoya PixieDust Chyna, Zoya PixieDust London, Zoya Dominique. I LOVE the PixieDust colors and sandy textured. I added a topcoat so you can't see the texture.

Please check the girls below. :)

Day 8 - Laid-Back 31DC - Holo/Duo Chrome/Flakie

Hi girlies! Today I bring you a really dark color from OPI. I was a little hesitant on how it came out since you can barely see the different colors of yellow and green. Since it was on such short notice I just did a simple mani. I've been helping my sister with moving and painting on her new house! It's so exciting on buying your own place. I did the mani right before heading to bed but yesterday I didn't have time to post since I was deprived of sleep.

What so you think of the color? At least it makes my nails look longer! ;) Please join my site to keep posted and please check below the girls amazing job for this day!

Day 7 - Laid-Back 31DC - Ombré or Skittle

Hi Misses! I hope everyone is having a great day. I just wanted to bring you the next new mani that I have done with this challenge. I knew what colors I was going to use for a few days but I had not decided what I was going to do after putting the base coat. Then I decided I was going to do an animal print with white and black, but then I decided that I would do it with the colors below. But then after dotting my colors I decided that I needed to leave it as is. I LOVE it!!! It's so pretty, and girly, and cute, and giddy. :D

The colors I used were:
Sally Hansen Xtreme wear
Green with Envy
Mellow Yellow
Breezy Blue
Bubblegum Pink
Sun Kissed

Would you do a skittle like this one? What do you think?

Please look at the rest of the ladies that did an amazing job below.

Review: Daily Lacquer - Hotaru

Happy Wednesday! I'm here to review one of Daily Lacquer polishes - Hotaru. I bought two other ones but I wanted to try this one out for a few days. ;) Since the first time I saw Daily Lacquer polishes I fell in love with all the polishes! They are super beautiful and lovely. When I received the package it was better in person than on the online store.

At first I only tried wearing a base coat and two coats of Hotaru. Below is a picture of two coats of Hotaru without top coat.

Below are pictures with three coats and a top coat of Seche Vite. The coats were easy to apply; I had no problems on application. I love the color and how the jelly purple looks. Isn't it lovely??

I can't wait to try the other two colors that I got from them. :)

Day 6 - Laid-Back 31DC - Favorite Colour Family

Hi!!! I'm so glad to be doing this wonderful challenge with such amazing girls. It's such a pleasure to learn from everyone and get encouraged to do better. Crumpet's Nail Tarts is such an amazing group of gals! My mani is not due until tomorrow by 30 mins. ;) But I decided to get ahead and do mine today since my last mani started chipping from all the cleaning and dish washing. I dislike wearing gloves when cleaning but maybe that's why my nails are not as strong.

Talking about strong nails...mine have been doing a lot better since I started wearing OPI Nail Envy Strengthener. I bought a special package where both normal Nail Envy was in it and the Matte finish as well for $16.00. I had seen the matte for $16 by itself. I'm a newbie so maybe I didn't get such a good price?? I don't know but it's been worth it!

Now to my current mani....What do you think? I really enjoyed doing the mani as it wasn't hard.
I got the idea from Manicurator's blog, this woman is my nail hero! lol. She did a way better job, but I believe it was because she had ManGlaze which is a matte polish. hehehe. ;) j/k! I can't wait to buy some of ManGlaze.

I did one coat of Nail Envy Regular polish, two coats of China Glaze Secret Peri-Wink-Le except on the ring finger which I did two coats of China Glaze First Mate. Then I taped my mani and added the opposite color. After drying for a bit I added a coat of Matte Nail Envy. I waited some more and did the three dots on each finger with China Glaze Black Leather with my dotting tools. I finished the mani with a final coat of Matte Nail Envy.

Can you see the matte well? I still think that the matte is not enough. Does anyone recommend a better matte for top coat?

Please join my blog and please take the time to look at what the ladies below did for Day 6!

Next is Ombre or Skittle! Woot Woot! :D
